My Favorite Black Friday Deals in 2024
Each year I keep a look out for Black Friday deals that are worth investing in. I'll update this post as I find offers that are worth a look.
I always keep a lookout for Black Friday deals that are worth investing in. I'll update this post as I find offers that are worth a look in 2024.
Deals I Purchased
404 Media is offering 75% off an annual subscription. You'll have to be quick if you want this one - it expires on December 3rd.
I almost missed this one: Carrd is offering 40% off new purchases and renewals. With the code, it costs just $11/ year for up to 10 sites.
I use Carrd for landing pages, parked domains, and even small websites. It's easy to get a site up and running within 10 minutes. I like it so much that I'm currently paid up until 2026.
If you're tired of the constant upsells and ads in Grammarly, it's worth taking a look at LanguageTool.
On Black Friday (only), you can get 20% off the Pro version. It works fine in the Ghost editor, and I think it's faster than Grammarly.
It's a shame that LanguageTool doesn't explain the benefits of the team style guide. If we'd had more time to look into that, I might have considered purchasing it for the content team I'm working with.
I bought the 1-year plan, and it looks great so far.
I also got a brilliant Black Friday email from Ben's Bites. For a limited time, you can get $100 off lifetime access with the code BBBFCM - $150 instead of $250.
I missed this offer last time they ran it, and I had lost hope of seeing it again! The site is packed with tutorials, and there's also a Slack community.
Ben's Bites is switching to annual pricing soon ($250/yr), so this is offer is worth grabbing while it's live.
Typing Mind has reduced the price of its top-tier Premium license from $198 to $89.
I already own Typing Mind, and I love it. It's my favorite way to access LLMs via their APIs, which is cheaper than buying a monthly subscription.
Hot tip: You can also search the web with Claude in Typing Mind, which is awesome.
One for my fellow neurospicies. Flare Audio has up to 50% off during Black Friday.
I swear that Flare Calmer is the reason I can still socialize. They're incredible at reducing 'sharp' background noise without muffling sound or making my own voice too loud.
Calmer really helps me to focus when I need to work in noisy places.
On a similar note... Loop Earplugs has a 20% off sale. My husband swore by the Quiet earplugs for a hospital stay.
I bought the Loop Engage 2, and bought myself the Switch for Christmas. (Yes, I'm at the age where I buy my own Christmas presents and give them to someone else to wrap.)
Not really related, but... I also took advantage of the Dell sale this year. I was planning to get a Studio Display, but Claude helped me shop for two new Dell monitors instead.
Other Black Friday Deals I Like
Veed.io is an easy-to-use online video editor. If you've used tools like Camtasia, you'll know what to expect in terms of the user experience.
I've used it for internal presentations and the occasional YouTube video. Veed.io has some extra AI-powered features like subtitles, too. I found the subtitle timeline to be a bit glitchy, but it's fine if you stick with it.
You can get 40% off the annual pro plan on Black Friday.
At first, this doesn't look like much of a deal; the annual pro plan has 52% off already. But the code BLACKFRIDAY40 is stackable on top of that. It effectively reduces the cost from £39/ month on the monthly plan to £11.40 if you pay for a year.
Mangools has 35% off all plans for Black Friday. Pricing starts from $19.43/ month. It's a lifetime discount, so you don't need to worry about paying more next year.
I've taken advantage of this offer in previous years and found Mangools to be easy to use. Its keyword research tools are simple, and it's also pretty affordable at this price.
Hostinger has hosting from $1.95 per month. I bought this plan a couple of years ago and it has been fine for small sites.
I now use it to host WordPress websites free of charge for my nonprofit and charity customers.
(A2 Hosting is a little cheaper at $1.75/mo. I haven't used them for many years, but wanted to list them as a cheaper option.)
Semrush is offering a free SEO consultation worth $300 when you purchase its Pro plan. This looks like a good opportunity to have a professional look at your SEO and advise you on a strategy for 2025.
The first month of Semrush Pro costs $140 and you can cancel after that if you decide it's not for you. Semrush Black Friday deal info.
AppSumo is always worth a look around this time of year. I haven't seen anything I want yet, but they're releasing deals in batches, so I'll be checking in over the next few days. All of the Black Friday deals are here. I like the look of TaskMagic but need to dig into it a bit more.
More to come! I'll keep updating this post as I find deals that are worth looking at.
